The doctoral candidates at the IGS are supervised by 11 professors working at the faculties of Physics/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics/Computer Science, Production Engineering, and Business Studies and Economics of the University of Bremen. Additionally, postdoctoral research fellows and research assistances of their working groups as well as all professors of LogDynamics are available for supervising and mentoring. Visiting professors from around the world are invited to contribute as mentors, lecturers or supervisors. Moreover, the managing director of the IGS provides further development of the doctoral candidates’ personal and scientific profiles. She coordinates the visiting professors and the lecturers offering training in complementary skills. All these elements immerse researchers in a discourse which – instead of presenting a single dominant perspective – encourages discussions beyond disciplinary and cultural boundaries.

The IGS community, current and previous doctoral candidates, as well as guest researchers meet online on Facebook. feel free to contact Eliza IGS as well.
