The doctoral candidates at the IGS are supervised by professors at the University of Bremen working at the faculties of Physics/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics/Computer Science, Production Engineering, Law and Business Studies/Economics. These professora are direct aupervisors or mentors. Additionally, postdoctoral research fellows and research assistances of these working groups as well as all professors of Log
Dynamics are available for supervising and mentoring. Furthermore, international visiting professors can also be integrated into the supervision of doctoral students as supervisors or mentors. The structural support provided by the scientific management of the IGS rounds off the support concept. It coordinates the visiting professors and the services offered by their external lecturers, who provide courses on personnel development and soft skills. All these elements encourage researchers to engage in discussion across disciplinary and cultural boundaries.
